Jersey’s Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for fighting and preventing fires on the Island and also provides a prompt and effective rescue service around Jersey’s coasts.
The Service aims to make Jersey a safer community by eliminating preventable fire casualties; reducing emergency calls and by helping to safeguard the environment. To do this, it provides information and education about potential dangers and when an emergency occurs, it provides an effective response.
